Blades
The foundation of any setup. Blades for every playing style.
Inverted Rubber
The most common rubber type — also known as pips-in or reverse rubber.
Long Pips
The longest pips-out rubber, often able to reverse (or "continue!") incoming spin, forcing opponents to think carefully about what spin they might be receiving.
Medium Pips
Not always used by manufacturers as a true category of rubber, medium pips are usually great all-rounders with some spin generation capabilities and great control.
Short Pips
Versatile pips-out rubbers, usually built for close-to-table play but can also be used for defensive chopping strokes.
Anti-Spin
Specialised rubbers which can control or even reverse incoming spin, making it difficult for opponents to predict where the ball will come.
